We eagerly welcome our new and returning families to Galena High School. Our school is an extraordinary place where we are committed to working collaboratively with each other, our parents and members of the Galena community. Our staff works diligently to maintain high expectations and educational standards. We are charged with the responsibility of preparing all students for college and careers by the end of high school. Our goal is to teach students to read and think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, and utilize technology in relevant ways. We have been working hard on continuing to create a curriculum that is rigorous to challenge and prepare our students for the 21st century.
