
Galena High School's Biology for Public Health class was awarded a $2,880 grant from the Table Rock Lake Community Foundation. The grant will be used to purchase materials for the class.
Biology for Public Health is a new class offered at Galena High School and currently taught by Mr. Ryan Lacson. The course emphasize issues of public health around the country and the world as students attempt to create means to alleviate some of those concerns. The course is being viewed as a way to help prepare students for a variety of careers in the medical field.
