On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 6:00 pm, Galena High School will be hosting a meeting with the Silver Dollar City company yet again for a summer work program. The meeting will be held in the high school cafeteria, and the Silver Dollar City company will be returning to the high school on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 8:30 am in the library for a hiring event. This time our work program will be at White Water and anyone at GHS who is 16 years old or older can participate. Galena High School will be providing transportation to and from White Water and the hours are expected to be from 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. By completing the summer program, GHS students can earn one elective credit. Students interested in the summer work program are encouraged to go on the Silver Dollar City website and apply for a job before the hiring event on the 26th. The available jobs will be listed as “Silver Dollar City Galena Cohort”.
