BETA Club to Host First of Three Blood Drives

The Galena High School will host the 2024 blood drive for anyone to come in and also students can sign up but they do have to be 16 years or older to give blood. The High School Beta Club members will be helping around the blood drive consisting of handing out food and drinks when donors give blood. After giving blood, your blood will either be taken to local blood banks and hospitals here around the ozarks. Our Beta Club goal is 40 units of blood from the drive during each of the three blood drives this year, but we need at least 20 units of blood during each blood drive for them to count toward our total goal of 120. If we are able to succeed with the 40 units of blood, then the Beta Club will receive $700 towards scholarships.

All blood donors will have the opportunity to enter a giveaway for two Kansas City Chiefs tickets. All donors will receive a free Chiefs Kingdom t-shirt. Please support Galena High School Beta Club by donating blood tomorrow, October 23, so that we can save lives and give away a scholarship to a deserving senior.
