To start this Journalism series we are starting off strong with Jacob Lancaster. This is Jacob’s first year in journalism but he plans on sticking with it and doing journalism throughout his high school career. His thoughts on journalism are that it is a good and educational class helping him with his writing skills. Jacob enjoys filming for journalism and writing articles with his group, Tyler and Jessy. Jacob’s role in journalism is to interview the teachers for the weekly teacher highlights and help write articles involving those teachers. He also helps with filming for the school sports games such as basketball,volleyball etc. 

Jacob enjoys playing car games on his computer during his free time and playing Roblox games with Tyler specifically Blox Fruit. His favorite class is Gym. He enjoys working out and playing basketball. Jacob's life long goal is to save up lots of money for a car (Conzer Agera RS), after highschool Jacob plans to strengthen his religion. He is involved in band for his extracurricular activity. Nothing inspired Jacob to join journalism; he just thought it would be exciting to try something new while also getting to hangout with his friends.
