Teacher Spotlight of the Week-Dr. Carr

This week the subject of our series was Dr. Carr. Dr. Carr has been a teacher for eight years, seven of which were here at Galena.  His Favorite subject to teach is Business Math. He attended college at Missouri state. He is one of two teachers with their Doctoral degree here at galena high school, the other being Dr Baker. 

Some things you might not know about Dr Carr is he enjoys older country music, his favorite song being Dirt Turns to Gold by Zach Top.  His favorite food is Cashew Chicken, and his favorite drinks being Coke and Sweet Tea. His least favorite subject to teach or learn is trigonometry. He really enjoys coaching track and cross country because he gets to see kids push past their limits and grow. One of his favorite sports to watch is basketball, so in all of our basketball games here in Galena you can find him somewhere in the stands or watching on GSPN cheering us on.
