Journalism Weekly Highlights- Carter Burchett

This week we are interviewing Carter Burchett on his thoughts about Journalism. Carter thinks that Journalism is “great and amazing” it helps keep people informed about what is going on in the school. Carter enjoys writing articles with his friends, and getting to discuss several things and tell other people about it. His role in journalism is editing girls sports articles while Jaiona writes them. In his free time, Carter likes to take pictures for the school’s band.

Carter’s favorite class is band, where he plays the baritone. He isn’t sure what his life long goals are yet, but he hopes to figure it out soon. After high school, Carter plans to become a photographer because he enjoys taking pictures throughout the school day. His extracurricular activities involve track and archery. Carter joined journalism because he thought it would be an easy but interesting class, and while he likes journalism, he does not plan to take it next year and try out a new class. That is all for this week, stay tuned to see who gets interviewed next week.
