The Greenhoods Take a Big Step Towards Their First Album

On March 19, 2025 the high school band called “The Greenhoods” went to a recording studio during school. They left during the morning around 9:00 am with Mr. Tate. The band members loaded everything up, and it took about 30 minutes to arrive at the recording studio, Audio In Motion. They met the guy that ran everything for us to record. His name was Dalton “Doc” O’Conner, he was so kind and was really nice and showed everyone how to use the equipment.

The band members were working very efficiently and were able to finish recording quickly. When the photographers were done taking pictures they went into the back room where everything was being recorded, we all agreed that the equipment being used to control their instruments, voices, and more looked like it came from a spaceship control panel. They were doing so well that Brendan Reith went ahead and recorded one of his own songs there.

Mr. Tate said, “I mostly want to see “The Greenhoods” taking it further than just school and potential. I hope that they go and continue this lifelong journey through college and want to see them go beyond what they can achieve, not just in school, but around the world.”

Halfway through recording they all went out for some lunch and came back energized and ready to play. They all love how much work that they put into making this happen.

Rieth said, “I want to see a big future in the band and hope that we will become a very popular band with an enormous amount of practice and skill.”

Levi Keltner said, “I would like to see Brendan get famous so the band can keep playing music for him and I hope to have us continue writing music together throughout life.”

After a long day of recording, “The Greenhoods” love the way the songs have turned out and hope that one day that they will be going on a world tour.
