Galena FFA has started off 2024 with a bang. Here is some information about upcoming events. Lincoln Hickman went to Public Speaking Institute on January 9 to learn about giving a speech in an FFA contest. We will have our monthly chapter meeting to discuss National FFA Week. We will have students going to see Temple Grandin on January 31. She is a professor who has taught most of what we know about cattle behaviors and has developed a low stress working facility. She also has Autism and will be speaking about how animals have helped her learn the world. We will have a state officer coming with a workshop, will attend FFA Day at the Capitol, and will be feeding our members and students. Finally, we will be in contest season starting March 1. These are a couple of activities that will be going on In Late January- March.
